The name is one of the Iranian TV series that was made in Iran before the 1978 revolution and was broadcast on Iranian national television. This TV series is based on the novel of the same name by the contemporary Iranian satirist Iraj Pezeshkzad, and was directed and produced by Nasser Taghvaei.

The 23rd Star Screen Awards was held on 4 December 2016 and broadcast on Star Plus on 31 December 2016. The Zee Cine Award (ZCA) is an awards ceremony for the Hindi film industry. They were instituted in November 1997 to award "Excellence in cinema - the democratic way They were first held in Mumbai until 2004, when the ZCA went international and had their ceremony in Dubai, and in following years in London, Mauritius, Malaysia, and London again in 2008. It was not held in 2009 and 2010, but resumed in 2011, being held in Singapore in 2012 it was held at the CotaiArena in Macao

Moti sells gurd in the market. He collects the raw material and takes them to an older woman, Mahjubhi, who makes exemplary gurd. Moti loves a village girl but is unable to afford to pay for the maher (dowry/marriage expenses) to her father. So he decides to marry Mahjubhi, proposes to her, which she accepts, they marry, and she moves in with him. Moti extracts a lot of work from Mahjubhi so that he can save enough money to pay for his marriage expenses. Shortly after he saves enough money, he decides to give Mahjubhi talaq (divorce), accusing her of infidelity. Shortly after that he marries the village girl, and he goes back to his business of selling gurd. With the skills of Mahjubhi taken away, will Moti survive on his own, and will his new wife be able to offer him the support and skills in order to enable him to survive in his trade.

Meanwhile Janaki give birth to twin boys, Shankar and Guru; Shankar grows up to be a police officer but unfortunately Guru gets separated from her and grows up with an elderly couple. Ironically Amit now resides in Nepal where-by he is a well-respected multi-millionaire businessman, Rana Ranveer and has adopted a young girl, Manju who grows up with him. Fortunately the family gets united and plots to bring Vikram to justice.
